RE: 5th. Annual Danforth Bay Fall Rally, NH, Oct. 10-13, 2008
I can see the natives are getting restless now. Didn't have time to log on this weekend, but looks like everyone is gearing up.
Spiders, clowns, gargoyles and more...
Bewitching time is down to four!
RE: 5th. Annual Danforth Bay Fall Rally, NH, Oct. 10-13, 2008
Hey, hey, don't be late, cuz the days for the rally is down to eight!
Jack, glad you will be joining us again this year. I'm sure we are all looking forward to hear about your latest experiments you've done over the past year.
Looks like quite the crowd forming on Thursday night. Another couple years and this will turn into a week-long event! ;-)
RE: 5th. Annual Danforth Bay Fall Rally, NH, Oct. 10-13, 2008
10 more days till the rally!!! The countdown begins.
If anyone who hasn't decided what they are bringing yet for the potluck could let me know what you think you might be bringing, before you decide what you are actually bringing, that would be great. Did ya get all that???
We still could use some sugar/splenda, half & half and hot cocoa mix along with chips for our Fri. night cookout if anyone is interested in supplying these.
Rally on!

How did you know I get coal every year as an anniversary present? Looks good at the end of my gold chains.
Hope the kitty will get better and that Nancy will be able to attend. We know what can happen when you don't have a chaperone.
RE: 5th. Annual Danforth Bay Fall Rally, NH, Oct. 10-13, 2008
The countdown continues....16 more days to go!! Rally on!!
I just realized I missed my 5 yr. RV.net anniversary. Can you believe we've been doing this rally thing for 5 years now? And the stories we could tell! We could write a book!
RE: 5th. Annual Danforth Bay Fall Rally, NH, Oct. 10-13, 2008
Jay, should I warn them that the Pyro is coming? lol I see visions of disco inferno again.
Greg, that should be good. You can hand off the power cords to the guys who will be there earlier. We are planning to leave around 2:30, so we should be there between 4:30 and 5:00 ourselves, depending on the traffic.
RE: 5th. Annual Danforth Bay Fall Rally, NH, Oct. 10-13, 2008
Geez Hutch, now I have to think of all the things you normally bring that I take for granted have been there in the past. Lights, tables, extension cords, coffee urn, burgers... the list goes on. This would have been a lot easier if you had planned your "Dress-Like-Your-Dog" event on a different weekend! :B

Karen,
No problem we will be bringing a load of firewood, Apple crisp, & brownies for the Pot Luck, & Macaroni Salad for Friday Night.
What do you need for Extension cords? Any idea on lengths. I can bring a couple 50 ft 12 gauge, and 1 75 ft 12 gauge if needed. I also have a 3 prong adapter that goes on these heavy duty cords.
Any idea on time for friday and saturday meals?
Greg

Thanks for the food contributions. I'll add them to the list.
I'm thinking the 50 ft. extension cords should be fine. We will need to set up our cooking area for Fri. night. (lights, etc., and the same for Sat. night, including crockpots. What time do you plan on arriving on Friday?
Friday night will be an ongoing event as people arrive. Probably from 5-8pm. If people arrive later than that, all the grills, etc, will still be there for people to use. Everyone will be bringing their own burgers/hot dogs for their Friday night consumption.
As for the pot-luck - we'll shoot for our usual time of 5pm. for those of you planning on hot food. Gerry and I will have our chaffing dishes for anyone that needs to put trays of hot food in them.
Does anyone have a coffee urn we can borrow? I have one for coffee, but since our sidekick, Hutch, won't be there, we'll need another for the hot water for hot cocoa.
Jay, haven't even thought of sledding yet. Still trying to make it through my heavy fall schedule. ;-)
I also verified with DB today that they will deliver a table and trash can to our group site. We can set this up on site 7 like we did last year.

Greg & Gayle, glad you'll be able to join us again this year. I have added your names to our attendees list. We could use some desserts for our pot-luck dinner if you wouldn't mind whipping up something yummy for that. As always, EZ-ups and firewood are always welcome.
Gerry, I love the colors of those kitties, especially the one on the right. Beautiful markings!
Dave, I'm with you, when going gets tough on the stock market, the tough go camping! Whoohoo! Might as well enjoy the camper... before it gets repossessed!
RE: 5th. Annual Danforth Bay Fall Rally, NH, Oct. 10-13, 2008
Just a reminder, we still have 2 sites available for anyone that would like to join us for the rally.
Aahhhh....The smell of fall is in the cool, crisp air. Frost on the cars this morning! It's almost rally time!
